Daisy Troops 3906

A fun year which included gymnastics and the Sweetheart dance.  They enjoyed being with the bigger girls at the family ice skating event, Cookie Castle and the Olympic Event!  These girls are very anxious to be Brownies!!

Brownie Troop 10012

This troop has had a busy year, including the Monarch's, a great sleepover, and a trip to the SEE Center.  They marched proudly as new Brownies in the Old Home Day parade, and thought the Cookie Castle, Sweetheart Dance and Olympic Events were great.  They explored the out-of-doors and had a fun hike with sister Scouts from troop 555.  Their most recent trip was to visit the Animal Rescue League to complete their Animals Try-It.

Brownie Troop 10039

One of the special things this troop shared was to make a troop "quilt" with glazed tile.  Each tile included a part of the GS Law, and each girl will keep her portion of the quilt as a keepsake. They've had fun with outdoor excursions and their first year selling Girl Scout cookies!

Brownie Troop 10026

Visiting Van Otis was a sweet trip!!  This group has had a great year, lots of fun and had a great Cookie sale!  They learned a lot about our neighbors in Mexico for the Olympic festival, and thought the Sweetheart Dance was pretty special!

Brownie Troop 553

This has been a fun year including a great cookie sale at Tri-Town Ice arena.  They enjoyed ice skating, the Cookie Castle event, the Sweetheart Dance, and our Olympic Event.

Brownie Troop 197

This troop has been exploring, exploring!  They've visited the Police Station and checked out a lock-up first hand!  (they were very curious about that commode!)  They did science experiments, made their own home-made paper, tried growing sugar crystals and will be visiting the Christa McAuliffe Museum to complete their Space Explorer Try-it.  They learned about Australia for the Olympic Event - "g'day mates".

Brownie Troop 2711

You'll find more about this troop at their website http://www.brownietroop2711.org.  Their year included a trip through a corn maze, the Boston Aquarium, Van Otis, and learned about horseback riding.  In March, they celebrated the Girl Scout birthday (March 12th) by taking a portion of their cookie profits and buying supplies for 8 complete birthday parties, which they donated to local children's agencies. The girls made cards for each of the children and wrapped a box of Girl Scout cookies as a present for the boy or girl who received the party.

Brownie Troop 533

This troop is having a fun year, especially with the help of their Senior sister Scout Caitlin.  They've participated in parades, Cookie Castle, Sweetheart Dance and the Olympic Event.

Brownie Troop 555

A busy year for these gals, including a hike with younger Scouts in Troop 10026, the Palace Theatre to see Tom Sawyer, rock climbing at the Allard Center, and the Guy and I Ceramic Studio.  They got to visit a maple sugaring site in Candia which they found fascinating!  These, along with the community events, rounded out a fun-filled year for this last year as Brownies, and they're really looking forward now to Juniors!

Independents

This is a group of girls who are not actively participating in a troop, but are members engaging in the Girl Scout program at their own pace with other Scouts or with adult mentors.  These gals have earned religious awards, the Bronze Awards during their Junior years, and our Cadette group is completing their Silver Award.  Service projects are foremost, and these girls proudly continue to emulate the Girl Scout mission of Courage, Confidence and Character.

Junior Troop 2120

These girls have been together for many years and always have so much fun together.  Each girl takes turns planning their monthly meeting, and have found this responsibility a great way to become confident leaders.  Their meetings included cake-decorating, mother-daughter tea, visiting a retirement home during the holidays, developing computer skills and challenging games - just for fun! They loved the 07 camporee and their trip to Coco Key Water Park in Danvers, MA was awesome.  They can't believe they're moving up to Cadettes in the fall!

Junior Troop 2791

A great year for these gals which included a visit to Empire Beauty School which not only included ideas for our personal care, but ideas about careers to explore as well.  This is a camping group, and they're looking forward to this year's camporee.  Brazil was really interesting for these girls to explore for the olympic event.

Junior Troop 349

These girls have lots of fun together while participating in lots of projects like caroling during the holidays, helping with our community-wide donations to families in need, and learning all about Spain for the Olympic Event.  They had great fun at the Cookie Castle event, Sweetheart dance, and also helped Love our Earth by learning how to conserve and recycle.

Junior Troop 2153

Another busy troop with lots of fun projects at hand.  They're gaining on their sewing skills as they visited Bonnie's Creative Stitches, visited the Hooksett Safety Center to complete the My Community Badge, and had a great cookie campaign including a successful booth sale.

Junior Troop 11145

These girls enjoy the out-of-doors and have enjoyed hikes and campouts, exploring the woods and waterways.  They paired up with Troop 349 to tidy up Holy Rosary's cemetery, contributed to aid our local family services project, and helped the Underhill School Grounds Volunteers to spruce up their garden.  They learned about ice harvesting at Stonewall Farm in Keene, went to Beech Hill Farm in Concord, and visited the Christa McAullife Planetarium to earn their Sky Search Badge.

Cadette Troop 541

This troop has been together for many years and their friendships are very strong.  This group has contributed to many of our local events by offering leadership for the younger scouts including running all the games at the Olympic festival and group wide games at the Cookie Castle event.  They've learned first aid and infant CPR, and continued to enjoy the outdoors camping and hiking.

Cadette Troop 2343

This troop has been together for many years, and this year they have realized how they face so many other obligations now they are getting older.  This realization brought them to the decision to make this their last year as a troop, but their friendships will always remain strong as will their values and appreciation for Girl Scouting.  Many will continue as independents, and hopefully bring their wonderful years of Girl Scouting to inspire younger girls.  This year included an incredible trip to Six Flags where even zip-lining couldn't stop them.

Cadette Troop 2590

This troop, although small, has done lots of fun things including a trips to a candy factory (even with the hair nets), Monarchs for the cookie kickoff and to see a Fisher Cats game.  They always have a great time at the Cookie Castle event, and still enjoy selling Girl Scout cookies.

Cadette Troop 2719

These girls always have such a great time in whatever they do.  They have taken turns leading meetings, learning to plan and organize each one.  They've had fun learning gourmet cooking from Mr. Demos and advancing their sewing skills.  They loved learning about Germany for the Olympic event,

Senior Troop 289

These girls have grown together into lovely young women, capable of so many things because of their many years in Girl Scouting.  Their trip to Clix photo studio peaked their interest in careers in photography and photo editing, and as a result, took on the responsibility of all the portraits at the Sweetheart Dance.  They did an awesome job and posted them in online albums for all to access.  They took a self defense course this year and are understanding how important personal safety is.  As Girl Scouts of the USA moves into a new program format, we hope this troop will be our premier "Ambassadors" to launch this brand new level of Girl Scouting.
